5. Order Processing and Payment

We accept payment through various methods, such as bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Cash on Delivery, and others as listed on the site. Your payment will be processed securely through a third-party payment processor.

You may cancel an order before it has been shipped by contacting us using the details below. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and is instead subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional codes and discounts are valid only for the period specified and may be limited to one use per customer unless otherwise stated. Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly permitted. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or refuse any promotional offer at any time, and to cancel orders where a promotional code has been used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.

Estimated delivery times, charges, and coverage areas are provided at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines may vary due to courier delays or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled according to our separate Return & Refund Policy, available on our site. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined there.

9. Purchases at Our Showrooms

These Terms apply equally to purchases made through our website, Bakingtoolbox.com, and at our physical showrooms (Munshiganj and Shreenagar). The same policies regarding pricing, returns, and exchanges apply regardless of where the purchase is made.

10. Product Authenticity and Third-Party Products

We sell products from a variety of third-party brands and manufacturers, and we rely on our suppliers to provide genuine, authentic products. While we take reasonable care in selecting our suppliers, we do not manufacture these products ourselves. If any product is found to be non-authentic — whether identified by us or reported by a customer — we will investigate the matter and work with the customer toward a resolution, which may include a return, replacement, or refund, in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

11. Food Color, Essence, and Repacked Products

Many of our food color, essence, and flavoring products are repacked by us from bulk packaging into smaller retail units. As part of this repacking process, an expiry date sticker may or may not be applied to every unit. Customers are responsible for inquiring about the expiry date of a product before placing an order, by contacting us through the details provided on our site; we will share this information upon request. Once an order is placed, the product is not eligible for return or refund on the grounds of expiry date — even where more than three months of shelf life remains — unless the product was misrepresented at the time of sale.

It is also the customer's responsibility to check the ingredient list for potential allergens before use, and to store and use consumable products as instructed on the packaging.

12. Warranty

Not all products sold on Bakingtoolbox.com carry a warranty. Where a warranty applies, the specific warranty period and terms for that product are mentioned in the product's description on our site. Please check the product description before purchase to confirm whether a warranty applies and for how long.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and the manufacturer's repair service. It does not cover damage caused by burning, short circuits, physical breakage, or misuse of the product by the customer.

If a product is found to be defective within 24 hours of receipt, it will be exchanged free of charge, with no shipping cost to the customer. For warranty claims raised after this initial 24-hour period, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the product to us, as well as the cost of receiving the product back once the claim is resolved.

To claim a warranty, the customer must send the product to Bakingtoolbox.com, and we will forward it to the relevant manufacturer or company for repair. This process typically takes 15 to 30 days to complete.

The warranty covers the manufacturer's repair service only. If any part needs to be replaced during the repair process, the cost of that part will need to be paid by the customer.

13. Temperature-Sensitive Products

Some of our products, including chocolate, couverture, butter, and cream-based items, are sensitive to heat and may soften, melt, or change texture during transit, particularly in warm weather. We take reasonable precautions in packaging such items, but minor melting or softening during delivery is not considered a defect and is not eligible for return. If a product arrives severely damaged or unusable, please notify us immediately upon receipt with photo evidence so we can assess the issue.

14. Batch and Lot Variation

Due to the nature of food color, essence, flavoring, and similar products, minor variations in color, shade, consistency, or scent may occur between different batches or lots of the same product. Such variations are normal and are not considered a defect or grounds for return.

15. Certifications and Labeling Claims

Where a product's packaging includes claims such as halal certification, organic labeling, or similar certifications, these claims are made by the original manufacturer. Bakingtoolbox.com relies on the accuracy of information provided by our suppliers and manufacturers and does not independently verify or certify such claims.

16. No Health or Nutritional Advice

Any product descriptions, usage suggestions, or recipes provided on our site or Facebook page are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Customers with allergies or specific dietary needs should review the ingredient list on the product packaging before use.
